Another fantastic release from Analog Africa, discovered in the unexplored regions of West Africa’s 70s Islamic Funk Belt. It’s a collection of weird, funky songs influenced by Congolese Rumba and imported funk and soul records from the 50s that surprisingly complement the traditional harmonies of the Bariba and Dendi people of Benin.
