Whether or not he wrote that infamous letter specifically to hype up this album, the tunes are dope. The production sounds a lot like Kanye and Kid Cudi’s recent stuff, with a dash of old-school Stevie funk thrown in for good measure.

“Sweet Life” is probably the best straight-up jam to roll through Beverly Hills with, but the true achievement is the ten-minute odyssey “Pyramids”.
