KSCR Review:
Name: Kurt Vile. Ahh, the perfect choice for a lonely, DIY-guitar sadsack songster. Wait a minute? He didn’t choose that?

That’s right. Kurt Vile is a legit sadsack! From birth, no less! That might help to explain why he’s so good at creating such natural Neil Young meets Pavement meets manic depressive dirges. Catchy as hell, and hot off the buzz of his sleeper album “Constant Hitmaker,” Kurt Vile certainly captures the almost-lofty namesake of the album.

Childish? Certainly. Prodigy? Maybe an overstatement, but c’mon, let’s give this guy some points for the ridicule he endured in elementary school.

Pity spins anyone? Kidding. Play it because its good. Or because you feel bad.
