KSCR Review:
Spiral Stairs is the solo project of Scott Kannberg. If that name doesn’t sound familiar, it should; Kannberg was the lead guitarist for Pavement. And Pavement is awesome.

While this isn’t Pavement —- it’s more like, “guy who used to be in Pavement making music now that he’s 40-something and still trying to retain his awesomeness.” But that doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s very sweet and endearing; you folk who like mellow, country-influence singer-songwritery type music will for sure dig this album.

Track 4 is super Malkmus-y, though.
